Here is the worst player at each Premier League club this season, according to the algorithm, not us!
We are only including players with at least 18 league appearances in 2024/25 and are using average match ratings from WhoScored.
Every Premier League club’s worst player this season
Arsenal: Myles Lewis-Skelly (6.45)
Lewis-Skelly has been a revelation in this Arsenal team, but two red cards in the Premier League this season have dragged down his average match rating, which doesn’t fairly reflect his impact.
Aston Villa: Pau Torres (6.43)
Unai Emery wanted Torres as one of his first major signing and he has been fairly decent since joining in 2023. Injuries have hindered him this season though.
Bournemouth: David Brooks (6.36)
Brooks has replaced Adam Smith as the Cherries’ worst player this season, according to the algorithm that is.
Brentford: Fabio Carvalho (6.26)
Former Liverpool youngster Carvalho has been restricted to mainly substitute appearances but has rarely impressed when on the pitch. He is currently injured.
Brighton: Simon Adingra (6.32)
Adingra has two goals and one assist in 24 Premier League appearances this season.

Chelsea: Christopher Nkunku (6.41)
Nkunku is not the player he was at RB Leipzig. We have no idea where that guy has gone.
Crystal Palace: Justin Devenny (6.18)
Devenny has only started three times in the Premier League this term but has come off the bench on 16 occasions.
Everton: Jack Harrison (6.42)
Harrison has a single Premier League goal this season.
Fulham: Tom Cairney (6.24)
We do sympathise with Cairney considering he has only started two games but he has still played in 21.
Ipswich: Jack Taylor (6.17)
We don’t sympathise with Cairney as much as Taylor – who has one start and 26 substitute appearances this term.
Leicester: Bobby De Cordova-Reid (6.12)
What a poor decision it was to join Leicester last summer.
Liverpool: Darwin Nunez (6.52)
It has to be someone and we are not surprised at all that it is Darwin. The Uruguayan has five goals and two assists in eight starts and 17 substitute appearances.
Man City: Manuel Akanji (6.43)
It was Kyle Walker with his 6.27 before he escaped to Italy. It is now Akanji, who has been a brilliant signing for City but a bit off the boil this term, like all of his team-mates.
Man Utd: Rasmus Hojlund (6.24)
Three goals in 38 matches for a £70m striker is a horrific return. He has fewer goal contributions than Ederson in the 2024/25 Premier League after theMan City goalkeeper assisted against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Newcastle: Joe Willock (6.24)
Willock has two assists in 877 minutes of Premier League football this campaign.
Nottingham Forest: Taiwo Awoniyi (6.10)
Life comes at you fast. Awoniyi’s goals kept Forest in the top flight in 2022/23 and now he can’t get a sniff because of Chris Wood and his 18 league goals while the club chase an unlikely Champions League berth.
Southampton: Cameron Archer (6.14)
Southampton are historically badthat singling out one player for criticism would be wrong – they have all been shocking, besides a regretful Aaron Ramsdale, who is not feeling great about his life decisions right now.
Tottenham Hotspur: Archie Gray (6.17)
All things considered, he has done exceptionally well in a struggling Spurs side.
West Ham: Carlos Soler (6.29)
Soler joined the Hammers on loan with high expectations considering he was coming from Paris Saint-Germain. He has probably not been as bad as his rating suggests but the Spaniard has definitely not looked a class above his team-mates.
Wolves: Tommy Doyle (6.15)
With one goal involvement in 24/25, Wolves’ man is Doyle.
